WHY CAN'T YOU SEND ME A QUOTE AND ESTIMATED TIME OF COMPLETION IF I SENT YOU A PHOTO VIA EMAIL OR DESCRIBED THE ITEM TO YOU BY PHONE?

Over the last 25+ years in business, we learned that giving a quote without letting us see the item in-person usually ended up with some level of disappointment for the customer.

Clothing varies a ton in details.

An image or description doesn't always reflect the full extent of the job (i.e., fabric types, liners beneath the surface, garment's tolerance for alterations).

In addition, getting your item measured in the store almost always ensures better accuracy. Taking self-measurements on clothing you're wearing is tough. We've had customers measure their own hem jobs at home, only to have pants that ended up too short for them. We're happy to do this for alteration orders.

This is why we sincerely mean it when we say there's no pressure to stay with us. This is the best way for us to give you the accurate pricing and schedule you seek.

We'd rather give you a firm answer by looking at the item and giving you the option to decline, than to have the both of us committed to the work and timeline without knowing all the details.

DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Unless you have a wedding dress that needs tailoring, no, you do not need to schedule an appointment.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Bring in the garment you need altered: No need to pin or measure anything in advance.

Bring the shoes you want to wear with the outfit.

You'll step into the fitting room and get changed.

Then you'll come out and step onto the pedestal. We'll pin the item so that we know where to make the adjustments.

Then you're done and on your way!
